Visit the Rugged Coastlines
It is just a short six mile drive to some of the most beautiful rugged coastlines you have ever seen. Plan accordingly by bringing sunscreen, sunhat, plenty of water and perhaps even pack a lunch.
Watch the Sunset or the Sunrise
Whether you love the mountains, forest, or the ocean, this island offers the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises in the world. Plan to spend some time enjoying this special time of day!
Explore Beautiful Hilo
Only a half hour's drive away, you can explore the exotic beach parks and shorelines of Hilo. Perfect for relaxing, socializing or just floating. One of the most beautiful places on the island. Plenty of places to enjoy a walk or a picnic. Great restaurants nearby. A wonderful place to spend an afternoon or an evening.
Visit the nearby Waterfalls
Less than an hour's drive away, just above Hilo is Rainbow falls. Nearby is "Boiling Pots" and also Akaka Falls. Perhaps take time for the "waterfall tour" and explore the nearby Hamakua Coast.
